Continuance Policy

TRAFFIC CASES: First continuance granted by Clerk. Subsequent continuances must be granted by the Judge. CRIMINAL/TRAFFIC MISDEMEANOR CASES: Continuance requests must be approved by the Commonwealth's Attorney (804-492-4018) CIVIL CASES: First continuance granted by the Clerk by agreement of the parties.
