Provisions of vscr-8:14 apply. Traffic continuance requested/justified through the citing/arresting officer. Criminal continuance requested/justified through the Commonwealth's Attorney. Civil cases must motion the court for continuance (form of motion for pro se litigants relaxed to written/signed request).
