  • Nationally Recognized Domestic Violence Mentor Court
      In 2020 and 2023, the Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) named the Pulaski County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court a Domestic Violence (DV) Mentor Court. DV Mentor Courts are nationally recognized for their efforts in improving their system's response to intimate partner violence and domestic violence, and for their adherence to the guiding principles and best practices for specialized DV Court models. DV Mentor Courts receive funding through OVW that enables them to provide mentorship and technical assistance to other courts across the country that are seeking to improve their response and/or develop their own specialized DV Court.
